Piccolingo is a recently launched campaign in favour of Early Foreign Language Learning. The EU promotes multilingualism and works actively towards improving language abilities. The overall aim is for every EU citizen to be able to speak more than one foreign language in addition to their mother tongue.   This past fall, the European Commission (Directorate-General for Education and Culture) launched an informative campaign on early language learning: The Piccolingo Campaign.
