Does anyone know of a Spanish playgroup for pre-school children that operates in the South Bucks/W London area?

I always speak to my 3 year old in Spanish and he understands everything I say. However, he usually replies in English as that's what we speak at home and that's what he hears from most people around him.

I think a playgroup where the only language spoken is Spanish would improve his confidence in speaking Spanish.

Thanks,

Gerald (gerald.mcgrath@olympus.uk.com)

Hi Gerald,

I'm Spanish and have also been speaking to my 18 month old son in Spanish. We are moving to South Buckinghamshire in  May and would be interested in a Spanish playgroup too. Have you found any? If not maybe we could start one!

Thanks

Olga

Hi Jaqui

I haven't found what I set out to find but what I found was better than nothing. You could try e-mailing Dolores at:
loli@beltramid.co.uk

She runs a franchise of El Club Espanol and she is about to begin giving lessons at the nursery my kids attend. However, those lessons are for 3-5 year olds although she may know someone who provides classes for younger kids. If you find anything that is not for complete beginners (as Loli's classes are) then please let me know. Good luck!

Gerald

Hola

I have been teaching Spanish to a variety of ages for the last year. My initial idea was called Little Parrots and it was for parents and toddlers to come and learn rhymes, songs, games etc in my house. I had a toddler of my own at that time, however since having another baby, I have branched out into primary schools in the area of Gt Missenden, and have since changed the club to "Hablemos español. Spanish Language Club". I would still be interested in running a small club for little parrots (the littler ones!). Just let me know if you are still intersted.

Kind regards

Liz Herrera

Hi

We are based in bedfordshire, and my family are spanish, so we tend to speak to my 20 month little boy in Spanish and English and to add to the confusion my husband is Sicilian so he also occassionally gets spoken to in Italian.

Ideally I would like to find a little session, maybe when he starts pre-school where they teach him the spanish grammar etc.

I currently teach him the basics and have spanish books at home and my parents speak to him in spanish, but would like a more structured way of learning.

Regards

Hi everybody,

I've got 2 children the first one is 5 years old and the second one is 2 years old . I always speak to my children in Spanish but they reply in English.

I would like to find a spanish club to help them to speak the language. Have you know any clubs or playgrounds around Aylesbury area?

Thanks

Rosa

Hi, everyone,

I live in South East Oxfordshire, bordering with Bucks. I'm spanish with an
English husband and we have a three month old baby. I'm really
interested in any spanish activities, clubs and meeting up with other
spanish/bilingual families. If you know of anything, please get in touch.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hello my name is Eva,

I'm from Vic, 60 Kilometers in land from Barcelona, and we live in Bedford.

I have a four years old son, that dials with three languages, Croatian (My husband is Croatian), Catalan, and English.

My husband speaks to our son in Croatia, I speak in Catalan, and when we are all together we speak in English.

Sebastian understands very well the three languages, although he speaks English most of the time.

I would like to find a group or persons that speak Catalan and are interested in helping they children in the process of learning the language and culture, please if you know of some one, would you let me know.

Many thanks,

Eva
